Celebrating 30 years in business, E.M. Harris Construction Company is a full service general contracting and construction management firm. While based in St. Louis, Missouri, we have undertaken projects throughout the state of Missouri and beyond. We manage new construction, general renovation, historic renovation and green retrofit / reconstruction projects for a variety of uses, including commercial, multi-family housing, education, healthcare and non-profit. E.M. Harris Construction has special experience with publicly funded and tax credit supported projects, many of which have multiple layers of funding, tight budgets and tight schedules. We have worked for many years with federal, state and city agencies and maintain an excellent record of compliance with the numerous rules and regulations required by such agencies. We strive for high minority (MBE) and women-owned (WBE) business participation on all projects, and our percentages are often much higher than goals established by our clients or financing agencies. We are also a Section 3 certified business. Our exemplary efforts to facilitate diversity and inclusion have earned us recognition from the City of St. Louis and the Missouri Senate. Our reputation is built on exceptional client service, outstanding quality, high efficiency, and on-time, on-budget delivery. Our work is almost exclusively made up of repeat and referral client relationships. In several cases, those relationships span the entire history of the company.
