After years of helping new businesses grow, I realised that there was a real lack of quality, flexible and cost-effective business development options out there for start-ups. There seems to be plenty of experienced freelance designers, developers and digital marketers available (the sexier roles - yes that's right, I am including developers in that bracket) but poor old biz dev is neglected. Getting the sales strategy right and equipping someone with the necessary skills to deliver it are absolutely crucial. A lot of the time, however, it's just too difficult for start-ups to strike a balance between hiring the best talent to drive growth and staying within their budget. We are trying to bridge that gap.
