Dwutygodnik is an online cultural magazine, a place for opinions, analysis, and commentary that has successfully combined the traditions and quality of print journalism with the opportunities afforded by new media.
In the six years since its inception, the magazine has published hundreds of issues featuring reviews, interviews, essays on literature, art, film, theater, and music, as well as columns, for a total of over six thousand articles. The list of authors includes Dorota Masłowska, Łukasz Gorczyca, Przemysław Czapliński, Joanna Krakowska, Maria Poprzęcka, Łukasz Najder, Maciej Sieńczyk, Stach Szabłowski and Karol Sienkiewicz.
In 2013 Dwutygodnik won the Polish Film Institute Award for best website, and in 2012 the magazine received the National Television's Gwarancje Kultury prize for: "running an online magazine that published influential pieces while dispensing with the artificial categories of high and low culture; for its bold writing and independent views, and especially for reminding us how important insightful, critical essays are to our cultural life."
