The mission of the Duluth Art Institute is to enrich daily life with dynamic, innovative visual arts programming that upholds excellence and promotes inclusive community participation. Premier arts organization with 117 years experience. DAI provides the community a rich array of arts offerings as well as a forum for the exchange of artistic ideas across a wide mix of audiences. The DAI is committed to decolonized curatorial and education practices that amplify absent narratives across our human experiences. We specialize is gallery and education offerings. Our galleries are always free and open to the public. Look for Free Family Days, youth art camps, and year-round educational programming for children and adults. Community resources include painting and multipurpose classroom spaces, a ceramics studios, professional development services for artists, large format HD scanner, photography studio, and more.
