The Dougherty Equipment Company team has over 400 talented and motivated material handling specialists. We are committed to partnering with customers to provide facility and warehouse solutions that reduce the overall cost associated with material handling. We serve customers from our twelve conveniently placed locations throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and Georgia. Dougherty Equipment stocks the leading names in material handling and forklift equipment. We sell and service new and used Yale Forklifts, Bendi Lift Trucks, Taylor-Dunn, Drexel, Genie, UTILEV, Princeton Teledyne Piggybacks and Tico. For our heavy equipment customers, we are proud to offer the full line of JCB construction equipment. Additionally, we provide a wide selection of warehouse products ranging from rolling ladders to ergonomic floor mats to racking and conveying systems. We also offer fleet management services. We are proud to ensure our customers’ new lift trucks, used forklifts and equipment receives the most superior level of service. Our 225 factory certified technicians service all electric, cushion tire, stand up, reach, pneumatic, narrow aisle forklift and lift truck makes and models at our locations in NC, SC, VA and GA. Our parts departments are able to access more than 250,000 parts for over 100 brands of forklifts, lift trucks and material handling equipment. Additionally, we provide both long-term and short-term forklift rentals with one of the largest rental fleets available on the East Coast. Our Facilities Equipment Division offers commercial dock and door products from Rytec, Poweramp, and Hugger along with residential products from Wayne-Dalton. We also furnish parts and provide service for most major brands of overhead doors and openers.
