"Dotnuva Seeds" started its brand activity back in 2003, when the company UAB "Dotnuva Baltic" was founded. After 20 years of successful activity, in order to strengthen the position of the certified seed producer in the Baltic countries, it was decided to separate the certified seed production activities of "Dotnuva Seeds" from the other activities of "Dotnuva Baltic". And so, in July 2023, the company UAB "Dotnuva Seeds" started operating in Lithuania, and SIA "Dotnuva Seeds" in Latvia. In recent years, the demand for certified seeds produced by us has grown significantly. Currently, the seed factory in Dotnuva, Lithuania, produces about 27,000 tons of seeds per year, which is about 90 percent of our total capacity, so in order to ensure a smooth supply of certified seeds to our customers, we must increase production capacity. In 2023, we will start building a new seed preparation factory in Iecava, Latvia, which will not only meet the demand for certified seeds in the Latvian and Estonian markets, but will also allow us to reach Latvian farmers faster and guarantee more efficient logistics of goods to Estonia. We represent and distribute seeds of cereals, rapeseed, corn, sugar beet, fodder, lawn grass and bean plants of the most famous international seed companies. We cooperate with DLF Seeds & Science, Saaten Union, DSV, Maribo, Lantmännen, Syngenta Seeds, RAGT, Rapool, Bayer CropScience, Basf, KWS, Saatbau Linz, HR Smolice, etc. "Dotnuva Seeds" seeds are sold by "Linas Agro". The main seed markets are Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. In addition to these countries, our seeds are sold in other countries of the world.
