Domaine la Taupe makes natural wine from our vines are located on the ancient riverbed of the Cher River between Thésée et Monthou in the Loire et Cher vallee.
Why natural wine? Because we believe that avoiding chemicals, sulfites, and other additives in both the farming and vinification process combined with spontaneous fermentation creates a better tasting and unique wine that truly expresses its terroir. No additives also means that each year our vineyard produces wines that taste a little different than previous years so there is always something new to discover.
