Health & wellbeing for those that champion ours
The Doing Our Bit platform is shining a light on prevention by championing health and wellness for the NHS and social care’s most precious commodity; its employees.
Through the use of best-in-class technology combined with empathetic and thoughtfully curated content, the multi award-winning Doing Our Bit platform is a free to participate, 24-7 one-stop shop for fitness, health & wellness, providing:
- On-demand video workouts
- In-person exercise & wellness classes
- Group activities, training buddies & community events
The workouts are suitable for all abilities and have been externally verified to ensure the highest level of safety, integrity and quality.
DoingOurBit started as a "passion project" during the Covid-19 pandemic when NHS employee Julie Davis, wanted to support her 190 colleagues by giving them access to free fitness sessions. Her neighbouring NHS Trust heard about this and wanted to share with its 10,000 staff. All of a sudden, Julie needed a bigger platform, additional expertise and help.
Leading fitness industry businesses Active IQ, Study Active and fibodo quickly stepped up. Sharing Julie's vision, they helped to create #DoingOurBit which launched in June 2020. Today, over 100 health and social care organisations have signed up, giving over 700,000 NHS and social care staff access to the free workouts.
We want to make DoingOurBit the world's largest free platform supporting the wellbeing of frontline workers. So we need more content, more creators, more diversity and more knowledge to share. If you want to get involved, please get in touch.
