Founded in 2007 by Jesse Ignjatovic and Evan Prager, Den of Thieves has quickly emerged as a force for ambitious event shows, uniquely stylized reality television, scripted projects and content for a variety of new media platforms.
Since 2007, via Executive Producer Jesse Ignjatovic, Den of Thieves have produced the past five MTV Video Music Awards - increasing the ratings each year, culminating in 2011 with the show being the highest rated telecast in MTV history. Additionally, Den of Thieves produced the 2012 MTV Movie Awards, the past two Critics' Choice Movie Awards for VH1, mtvU's 2011 Woodie Awards and the 2010 and 2011 Country Music Television Awards.
In 2011, Den of Thieves reimagined the award show for the digital world by creating the Online Music Awards for MTV Networks. The online telecast shattered viewing records, making it the second most watched presentation in mtv.com history.
In addition, Den of Thieves have worked with some of the highest profile celebrity talent to produce a variety of TV series and specials. They partnered with football legend Terrell Owens to produce 3 succesful seasons of The T.O. Show for VH1. In 2009 they executive produced Russell Brand Live from New York City for Comedy Central. Then in 2010 they produced Kid Rock: Born Free for MTV Networks (airing on MTV, VH1, and CMT). Also in 2010 they produced MTV Unplugged: Lil Wayne. Most recently Den of Thieves produced Start-Ups: Silicon Valley on Bravo.
Den of Thieves has multiple projects in various phases of production and development. Jesse Ignjatovic most recently executive produced the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards and Den of Thieves executive produced VH1 Divas that aired in December.
Den of Thieves is currently located on the lot at Sunset Gower Studios in Hollywood, CA.
