Delicious Democracy

We are a creative advocacy lab experimenting against structural apathy. We are bringing humanity into politics by building a cultural and political community nourished by face-to-face creative action and experimentation. Big structural change needs to include collective personal transformation. The answer to our crises is not socialism or capitalism. We propose Equitism: a new vision of a cultural and economic system that values human wellbeing, community ownership, and infinite play. What do we do? We gather for food and fellowship at our monthly Delicious Happenings. We are building an alternate-reality civic engagement & education game called Showupia. We bring culture and creative arts into space of power to change the types of connections and conversations that happen there.
