As a boy growing up in England, Dean remembers looking forward to friendly visits from the milkman. “The milkman was like family,” he recalls, often delivering to multiple generations within the community, as families grew up. Delivery was convenient, of course, but it was the friendly interaction, personal relationship, and familiar face that left a lasting impression. When Dean moved to Canada, home delivery wasn’t common. He missed it! So, Dean’s Milkman Dairy Service was born in 1986. Starting with just one truck and growing to as many as 10, he built relationships with over 2000 customers. As his market grew and shopping practices changed, Dean’s Milkman Dairy Service added additional products and started serving the wholesale market. Over the years, we have continued to expand our product lines and we now exclusively serve the wholesale market as Dean’s Dairy & Specialty Foods. We handpick only the best all-natural and organic products from the best suppliers in British Columbia and we deliver to Grocers and Cafés throughout the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island.
