Specialist Joinery & Bespoke furniture
Dealerward was established in 1986 by Julia Willey and Andrew Platt who met at the London College of Furniture (now London Metropolitan University) as undergraduates. They created Dealerward to supply the niche market of designing and supplying dealer desks for the London capital and share markets. In 2007 Grant Allen, a member of the design team since 2002, was appointed as the third director of the company.
Dealerward’s first project was to install 300 tables at Salomon Brothers, a Wall Street Investment bank, acquired by Citigroup in 1998. The business soon expanded into the design and manufacture of command and control desks for the emergency services and has since evolved to supply and design bespoke furniture for corporate clients. Over the years, Dealerward has built up an enviable reputation and diverse client list across industry sectors including Bank of China, Sony, IBM, Arup, Microsoft, Facebook and the British Olympic Association. The company has also completed projects in Europe and the rest of the world.
In the mid-nineties, after going into partnership with manufacturers Wolpert GmBh, Dealerward’s production base moved from the UK to Germany. The design, administration and installation side of the business is managed at our head office in Central London, at the heart of the furniture design industry.
Always determined to retain the benefits that a small company can offer, with its personalised and diligent approach, Dealerward has maintained a steady and well-managed growth pattern since its inception and is now one of the most reliable and trusted suppliers of high end joinery and specialist furniture makers in the UK market.
Dealerward ceased trading in 2016.
