DeWolfe Engineering Associates, PC was first established as a sole proprietorship in 1989, and was later incorporated in July 1996. The primary goal of the firm is to provide efficient design at a fast track pace while meeting all of the clients needs.
We have over twenty years of experience obtaining Act 250 permits for a variety of industrial and commercial clients. In New England, we have developed relationships with key state and federal agency personnel which allows us to expedite wastewater, storm water, water supply, stream alteration, and wetland permits.
We provide complete civil engineering services including site engineering: grading, run-off hydraulics, storm drainage with retention or detention ponds, water supply, and sanitary systems; stream hydraulics; highway design; and intersection evaluation.
Structural engineering services include the analysis and design of buildings, bridges, retaining walls, and associated specialty design features, such as trusses (heavy timber and steel), beams, columns, and foundations. Services may be for new construction, additions, or rehabilitation and restoration projects. The primary materials of construction may consist of structural steel, reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete, heavy timber, wood, light gauge steel, and masonry(brick and concrete unit).
