Daylight Design indoor gardening products provide a unique way to start seeds and grow plants indoors. The SunstationTM grow light stand has adjustable shelves that support small plant trays under fluorescent lights. Unlike other grow light stands, the Sunstation allows the user to move individual trays of plants further from the lights as they grow. The advantage is that plants at very different heights and stages of growth, from seedling to full-sized plants, can be grown under one set of lights. Another innovation is a simple system of wicks to draw water from the bottom of the trays into the plant pots. Little “feet” attached to the bottoms of pots keep them from sitting directly in the water, which could drown the plants. The small trays are easy to work with, and the system is suitable for people of all ages and those with mobility limitations. A tabletop model is also available.
