Dave started out as a tool & die maker. With his son in hockey he came across a man selling his skate sharpener. Knowing the trouble he had finding a place that did a good job sharpening skates, he found a opportunity to help his neighborhood. Dave began sharpening skates out of his garage. With quite a following of hockey parents he took a leave of absence from his job and opened his first store in Moon Plaza. With many long hard days, focused on customer service, he survived. Dave's Sport Shop has grown to 3 locations, and carries a variety of team sports including Hockey, Baseball, Softball, Lacrosse, Football, Wrestling, Volleyball, and more.
