Dallmann started its operation in 1954. It is the brainchild of Guenther Dallmann who opened his pastry shop in St. Gilgen, Austria. He began by offering only three types of pastries all of which were baked fresh daily. Dallmann was very particular about attention to detail and used only the freshest ingredients in preparation of his pastries and this led to his shop becoming a well known place amongst locals. Guenther's daughter Sylvia and her husband Franz gave further impetus to the business and turned Dallmann Confections into a world renowned business.
Dallmann's granddaughter- Isabella Knack has given a new dimension to the family business by opening an outlet in San Diego, California that specializes in exquisite artisan chocolates. Isabella has kept the family tradition, of using only the finest ingredients . Her chocolates have found their way in the world class hotels, restaurants and gourmet shops.
