DUMP Association of Young Programmers is a non-profit organization comprised of students and high-school pupils and stationed in the city of Split, Croatia.
Our main goal is introducing young people to modern technologies and creating a community in which young experts can cooperate, surrounded by common themes and challenges, as well as inspiring them to pursue their engagement in IT. We organize different sets of free lectures, like the School of Programming Basics that we hold every year. In order to improve people’s skills, apart from giving lectures, we offer help with mentoring and experience gained in different projects, research work and competitions (most notably Imagine Cup and Shift Hackathon).
Some of our most recent projects are:
DUMP Days, the first free technology conference held in Split, whose lecturers were not only members of our association but also representatives of some of the most prestigious IT companies in the region;
DUMP Internship, aimed at young lovers of technology who would like to join our team.
Considering our goals and activity, our members are not only programmers, but also people in design, marketing, project management and multimedia. Everyone can work on the organization, formulation, presentation and implementation of diverse projects.
In short, we are a group of enthusiasts who stand out for their professionalism, as well as for maintaining high standards in everything they decide to do.
