DORA Holdings, Inc. is a non-traditional private equity firm located in Joliet, Illinois. We do not currently manage any LP funds; instead leveraging our own equity capital and/or debt sources to make acquisitions or take positions in companies. This model, unlike traditional equity firms where the partnership generally dictates a three-to-five year harvest, allows the managers to focus on building 100-year businesses, rather than a short-term return to its LP’s. Similar however to the private equity model, the concerns owned by DORA Holdings operate in a decentralized structure and maintain their own leadership and support teams.
