DNA Games was a social game studio and developer of technology solutions that enable real time game optimization. The company shipped three highly successful titles and garnered more than 20 million players, including Casino City, Bar World and Slot City. The company was founded by Jon Lee and Shaun Haase, funded by Battery Ventures and Bain Capital and was growing and profitable prior to being purchased by Zynga in May 2011. After integrating its technology, the DNA team founded the Chefville franchise, which was one of Zynga's largest and most profitable social games. Chefville held the title of Largest Game in the World by Daily Active Players in the fourth quarter of 2012.
