In 1989 Heinz Deitert founded the company DEPO in Marienfeld, a small village nearby Gütersloh, in order to realize an efficient milling technology due to his basic ideas. Owing his long and comprehensive industry experience in the Mould & Die Industry a complete tooling system has been developed, furthermore the software DEPO CAM with focus on free-form milling as well as the current Xpert Line with vertical and horizontal Machining Centres which are used in the Mould & Die market and in the Gear Industry. The total package has been completed with the gear calculation software GearEngineer for cylindrical gears and bevel gears (with integrated output of CAD files). Mit der Grundidee eine effiziente Frästechnologie zu realisieren, gründete Heinz Deitert 1989 das Unternehmen DEPO Frästechnik in Marienfeld, Kreis Gütersloh. Auf Basis seiner langjährigen Branchenerfahrung entstand ein vollständiges Werkzeugsystem, die mit Schwerpunkt „Freiformfräsen“ entwickelte Software DEPO CAM sowie die aktuelle Maschinenbaureihe Xpert mit vertikalen und horizontalen Hochleistungs-Bearbeitungszentren, die neben dem Werkzeug- und Formenbau auch in der Zahnradfertigung erfolgreich eingesetzt werden. Das Gesamtpaket wurde mit der Zahnradberechnungssoftware GearEngineer für Stirnräder und Kegelräder mit integrierter CAD-Ausgabe komplettiert.
