Founded and led by Dr. Anjali Menezes, the Differential Attainment REsearch (DARe) Group Collaborative is a growing Canadian-based network of exclusively racialized academics studying and working towards eliminating, the racial attainment gap in medical and health professionals’ training and career outcomes. The lens with which we view anti-racism and equity work is essential, and supporting anti-racism work led by academics with "the authority of lived experience" is central to all our work. A group that now exceeds 30, our vision is that we must begin first and foremost with building community. Only then can we co-imagine and co-create a vision for a brighter, more equitable world.
