Damu Design

DAMU is Dynamic Architecture Multiple Urbanism. We are a design studio operating at all scales of the built environment, from urban design and architecture to industrial and graphic design. Being based in the rapidly transforming urbanism of Beijing, the focus of our work lies in contemplating new identities of modern Chinese architecture and the reframing of our physical experience of built spaces through detail oriented interventions. DAMU Design was founded by Hai Lin in 2008 in Chicago, Illinois. DAMUDesign’sChineseoperations began in 2013 in Beijing and Shanghai, joined by partners Xi Xiong and Kai Liu. Our services include Architectural Design, Architecture Restoration and Renovation, Urban Design, Landscape Architecture, and Graphic Design. DAMU is an open platform of diverse international designers coming together to collaborate in the dialogue between the evolution of traditional, local Chinese architectural culture and contemporary building innovation within a globalized environment.
