DAMRO GROUP, renowned for being the biggest furniture manufacturer in South Asia, recently ventured in to the management of plantations and is now in possession of two large companies, namely PUSSELLAWA & AGALAWATTE Plantations that comprise of 40 estates, in extent of 22, 530 hectares, the main produce of these plantations being Rubber, Tea & Oil Palm. Besides being a producer of some of the finest Ceylon Teas, we are also one of the largest manufactures of Natural Rubber and is also amongst the three major producers of Oil Palm in the country. Being a company focused on corporate social responsibilities, we as a manufacturer ensure that we strictly comply with environmental regulations and integrate community development in management plans of our plantations that are home to a resident population of 75, 000 and amongst them are 11, 423 of our valued employees.
