Operating since 2017. The CyberWayFinder program started with a pilot-group of 20 women in its Career Transition Program. We have helped nearly 100 women transition into cybersecurity careers in the course of our first three years.
The program now provides a broad multi-gender training program in each of the domains of the cybersecurity common body of knowledge, through classroom lectures, mentoring sessions, hands-on workshops and certification guidance and review classes - to assist in a successful career pivot for each of the participants into cybersecurity.
Our mission is two-fold - to increase diversity in cybersecurity teams in order to bring a broad range of needed skill sets into the industry, and to increase career opportunities for motivated professionals with relevant transferable skills. We aim to create a sustainable pipeline of diverse cybersecurity talent.
