Commercial Kentucky, Inc. was founded in 1973 as Scherer/Casper & Associates. The firm was acquired by Cushman & Wakefield in 1981, expanded its capabilities to include market research, property management and appraisal services, in addition to office, industrial, retail and investment brokerage services. The firm operated as Cushman & Wakefield of Kentucky until 1992. Following five years as a Grubb & Ellis Affiliate, Commercial Kentucky, Inc. rejoined Cushman & Wakefield in March of 2005 as a member of the Cushman & Wakefield Alliance. Cushman & Wakefield merged with DTZ in 2015 creating a top-tier global commercial real estate services provider.
