The Cape Town Creative Academy (CTCA) is situated in Silo 5 on the 2nd floor, adjacent to the Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa, and provides spacious studios with spectacular views of Table Mountain and the oldest working harbour in the country. Our students will rub shoulders with artists, designers, and international visitors in the trendy artistic environment of the Silo district. The Contemporary Art programme will be offered in Silo 2, which is on the other side of the Zeitz, with a communal space shared with the main campus.
With a progressive trans-disciplinary vision, the CTCA functions as an international authority on creative education with a scientifically balanced combination of academic rigour, industry-lead practice-based learning and entrepreneurial and business management studies. All offerings are strategically informed by the newest and latest technological developments and design tendencies, ensuring a positive learning experience that prepares CTCA learners to rise as leaders of the creative industry, locally and abroad in a full spectrum of creative careers.
The CTCA endeavours to embrace an ethos that cultivates young creatives that strive to uphold and protect the integrity and sustainability of the creative industry through their profession.
