Crane Street Capital is a private equity firm that invests in micro growth buyouts and growth equity of small companies primarily in the western United States. Based in Woodside, California, the firm is led by a cohesive group of experienced investors sharing a common investment philosophy. Our principal strategy is to pursue opportunities in carefully selected asset-light service industries, predominantly education services. These businesses have great potential for creating value, yet are largely under-served by institutional capital. Crane Street’s principals have invested more than $1.3 billion in over 40 private equity transactions and have delivered consistently outstanding returns through several market cycles.
