Council For Health And Human Service Ministries

The Council for Health and Human Service Ministries includes 73 corporate members, all affiliated with the United Church of Christ, that operate 363 facilities, communities and programs for children, youth, families, older adults and people with disabilities. We are a community of leaders and organizations committed to advancing the healing and service ministry of Jesus Christ. Ranging in size from small care centers to large hospital networks, we are bound together by our call to serve others. Together we represent the largest component of the UCC’s healing ministry, serving well over a million people annually and have combined assets of more than $3.9 billion. Our shared work finds expression in: Forming Leaders: Through special training programs and leadership education, we connect professional excellence with faith-based purpose. Resourcing Ministries: Through collegial networks, consulting, and group services, we help each other with the business of ministry. Celebrating Heritage; Through our United Church of Christ heritage, we discover ways to draw upon our faith history for the work today.
