Our long story in the olive oils began in the “Costa” as we call the green hills colored by ancient and precious olive oil trees in Umbria region, where today we still get the inspiration and energy to develop our ideas and produce our products in Italy and in all over the world, in a special place where nature, passion, research, innovation and expertise are summarized in our brand. Costa d'Oro is nowadays one ot the most important innovative and international player in the worldwide olive oil market: it has always worked to guarantee the quality of its products, investing both in research together with innovation and today rapresents a growing valure for the category. Costa d'Oro was the first olive oil company in the world to be certified with the ISO 9002 quality sytem and over time it obtained other quality, organic, ethical and religious certifications. Costa d’Oro is based in its headquarter of Spoleto, Umbria, the green heart of Italy, with commercial office in USA and Brazil. Its plant in Spoleto produces about 32 millions of oil litres every year, producing clean electricity thanks to a photovoltaic system that permits a reduction of environmental impact and underlines a great attention of Costa d'Oro to the environment with an active corporate social responsability policy.
