At CIEL we work to create a landmark for excellence in knowledge-based entrepreneurship, elevating the Copenhagen Region to becoming a powerful growth engine with significant regional, national, and international impact. We support a dynamic entrepreneurship eco-system, which pools private, public and international partners with Copenhagen University, the Technical University of Denmark and Copenhagen Business School. We work with a mission to develop a collaborative university alliance, where students and staff across academic disciplines are engaged in knowledge-based value creation. We build on the high academic excellence present at our three universities, and we are working to strengthen the entrepreneurial knowledge, mind and skillset among students and staff, in order to become a powerhouse of knowledge-based innovation and entrepreneurship. Providing a model for cooperation between researchers, students, institutions, disciplines and industries, we leverage the strength of 50,000 students, 4,000 researchers and more than 800 university and industry partners.
