Consilience Group is a woman-owned mission-driven systems transformation firm committed to the physical, mental, social, and economic wellbeing of all people and communities.
We work within and across sectors, systems, and organizations to align and integrate policy and practices for equitable people-centered services.
The firm was launched in 1999 by co-founders Traci Sampson and Lee Harness with a combined thirty years of experience designing and launching large-scale innovation for Fortune 1000 companies. Originally focused on interactive business and e-government design, guided by Lee and Traci’s passion for social impact, the firm quickly evolved a specialty in system transformation for the social and non-profit sectors.
Founded on the principle of consilience, the group has worked on over 400 projects with local and state government, community development, education, workforce development, health and social services, the judiciary, foundations, and non‐profit organizations. These services help our clients foster the self-efficacy and success of the people, families, and communities they serve.
In 2013, the firm’s third principal, Meredith Hennessy, joined the group. Educated as an architect and urban planner, Meredith brings 15 years of experience designing and launching social sector innovations. Today, Traci and Meredith lead a team of passionate, talented people who put consilience principles into practice to help social innovators around the country accelerate their impact through high-performing people-centered services.
