Connecting Research To Development (Crd)

CRD is a think tank that operates in the support, generation and dissemination of evidence-based research from combined perspectives of public health and social science in MENA, Central Asia, and Eastern Europe. In close cooperation with its partners, the specific goal is to apply scientific innovative know-how and to transform evidence-based data into programmatic actions. Universities, local organizations, international institutions, and government ministries rely thereby on CRD’s expertise and deep understanding of the research environment. CRD provides technical knowledge and experience to support (I)NGOs, UN and international agencies, and local and national governments. Drawing on particular expertise in public health, legal aid, public policy, and social sciences, our focus is on providing the following services in a multitude of thematic areas: • Research and Design • Policy Work • Monitoring and Evaluation • Public Systems Strengthening • Capacity Building and Training • Interventions or Trials
