Conflict Armament Research identifies and tracks conventional weapons and ammunition in contemporary armed conflicts. Established in 2011, it was created in response to the growing need for informed, on-the-ground reporting on weapons proliferation in modern wars and insurgencies. Our iTrace Global Weapons Reporting System is a fully public and completely free to use system. This rapidly expanding global dataset will serve as a vital independent monitor for the implementation of international arms control agreements, including the UN Programme of Action and the Arms Trade Treaty.
