Comunidad Inti Wara Yassi

Comunidad Inti Wara Yassi (CIWY) is an internationally recognized Bolivian non-governmental organization that cares for rescued wildlife and increases awareness of the environment and its importance. The organization began in 1992 and has grown to become the largest organization of its kind in Bolivia. CIWY currently maintains three wildlife centres where thousands of injured, abused or mistreated animals are or have been cared for. The organization accepts volunteers from around the world to help care for these animals, involving them in everyday activities such as feeding, cleaning and providing enrichment. In the past 15 years, more than 9,000 international volunteers have offered their help and support. We are proud to be supported by the Jane Goodall Institute and the International Primate Protection League. ::: Comunidad Inti Wara Yassi (CIWY) es una organización no gubernamental boliviana reconocida internacionalmente que se dedica al rescate y rehabilitación de la vida silvestre y aumenta la conciencia sobre el medio ambiente y su importancia. La organización comenzó en 1992 y ha crecido hasta convertirse en una de las organizaciones en Bolivia. CIWY actualmente mantiene tres santuarios de vida silvestre donde miles de animales heridos, maltratados son o han sido cuidados. La organización acepta voluntarios de todo el mundo para ayudar a cuidar a estos animales, involucrándolos en actividades cotidianas como alimentar, limpiar y brindarles enriquecimiento. En los últimos 15 años, más de 9.000 voluntarios internacionales han ofrecido su ayuda y apoyo. Estamos orgullosos de contar con el apoyo del Instituto Jane Goodall y la Liga Internacional de Protección de Primates, entre otras organizaciones reconocidas internacionalmente.
