Compassionate Heart Ministry

MISSION: Build inclusive relationships in Christ for families and individuals live with mild to moderate disabilities. GOALS: 1) Provide social opportunities and peer friendships; 2) Encourage spiritual growth, 3) Engage in community experiences, 3) Provide family support, 4) equip individuals to make a difference through mentoring. WHO WE ARE: Compassionate Heart Ministry provides a safe, Christ-centered drop in center for teens and young adults with disabilities ages 14 to 35. Peer mentors come alongside our participants and friendships ensue, bringing a sese of belonging and acceptance into their world. Henry Drummond says "Where-ever we are, it is our friends that make our world." The friendships that occur over video games, card games, shooting pool and other activities make a difference in the lives of our participants.
