Straight Talk is a hands-on, interactive intervention, requiring that the participants; teenage African American females age 12 -18, take part in four two hour long sessions that include activities and discussions.
These sessions cover physical, emotional, and sexual health issues, while building self esteem.
Straight Talk is an adaptation of two effective behavioral interventions; SiHLE and Focus on Youth with ImPact.
This program is sponsored by the Office of Womens Health in Washington, DC.
