Community Counseling Centers of Chicago (C4) is a leader in community-based mental health treatment in Chicago’s most vulnerable communities, including a current, rapid expansion into the underserved West Side. We partner with clients and staff to improve prevention, treatment, wellness and community support positively, for generations to come. With 21% of the general population of the U.S. dealing with mental illness at some point in their lives and depression rates tripling since Covid began, mental health is every community’s concern. C4 is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization, depending upon motivated clients, the community and government to support our purpose.
C4 is strength in community. Recognizing that trauma can happen to anyone we serve clients first, and their mental health needs, in the community. Our special, but not exclusive, emphasis is on those who rely on Medicaid. We put clients and their communities first! Here you will never wonder whether who is our top priority!
C4’s innovative, compassionate, and culturally-sensitive services have been growing exponentially in recent months but we are building our new growth on 50 years of quality and care. C4 has been a pioneer in helping prevent and treat clients as they live and thrive in their communities. We understand that treatment is a partnership with clients, our staff, and our shared community (i.e., a network of family, friends, and community leaders). Come be a part of that community and help where it really matters.
