The Communications and Multimedia Consumer Forum of Malaysia (CFM), an organization designated as an industry forum by the Malaysian Communications & Multimedia Commission (SKMM), was established in line with the requirement of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998. One of CFM’s functions is to promote and encourage high standards of service, conduct and performance throughout the communications and multimedia industry. It is tasked with handling unresolved complaints which are highlighted by consumers, promoting awareness on consumer rights and in producing industry codes which represent a guideline on industry best practices.
