The CAPCA was born in 2017 as a intercommunal project aiming to develop the territory, by uniting its townships to achieve what a single municipality couldn't carry on its own. Today, the CAPCA represents 42 cities for a total of 45 000 residents. Located in the french Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes area, the CAPCA develops itself nearby the Rhône valley and the Pont d'Arc adorned cave, registered to the UNESCO World Heritage List. Between the south of France and the well-known Massif Central, the CAPCA is a territory in the heart of the Ardèche county enjoying a strong natural and architectural heritage.
