Waterford County Council Mission Statement: Waterford County Council is the local authority responsible for administration of the county. Within the county there are three Town Councils – Lismore, Tramore and Dungarvan. Each Town Council, within the county area, comes under the jurisdiction of the County Manager. “To provide the people of County Waterford with an efficient and effective Local Government Service. To protect and enhance the quality of the environment and the life of all the citizens in co-operation with the people of the County, Government and State Agencies”
