Colombo Communications Ltd., a subsidiary of the E.A.P. Edirisinghe Group of Companies, has been in operations since 1999. Colombo Communications Ltd. or CCL aims to embody, lead, and serve the media industry.
Currently, the company owns and operates three nationally renowned radio stations: Shree FM, Ran FM and E FM. Colombo Communications Ltd's Executive Director is Ryan Honter.
RAN FM, which was relaunched in October 2007.
The station is broadcast throughout the country on the following frequencies: 102.2 FM Western; 101.3 FM North/Central; 95 FM Southern; 104.5 FM Sabaragamuwa; and 91.5 FM Uva. Ran FM can also be heard globally on www.ranfm.lk.E FM is the company’s only English radio station which started broadcast in December 1999. Being one of the leading urban English radio channels in Sri Lanka, the station continues to adapt to the trends and demands of its market having repositioned itself as an ‘eighties station’ tagged with the catchphrase “Your Lifestyle Station”.Currently, E FM is heard on 100.4 MHz in Colombo, 93.2 MHz in Kandy and on www.efm.lk. Shree FM, the organisation’s flagship Sinhala radio channel, is recognised as the most listened to radio channel in the country. Since its inception, Shree FM has transcended from solely being a vehicle of entertainment to being a vehicle of hope to its audience. Shree FM is broadcast island- on 99 FM, 93.2 FM, 93.3 FM, 95.8 FM, and 98.8 FM.
