KIDS NO.1 -- Finding out WHAT'S THE BEST for the next generation is our prior mission. Codemao, China's largest kids coding online education platform, was founded by two school friends, Tianchi Li(CEO) and Yue Sun(CTO), in March 2015. The story started when they were studying Human-machine Interation(HMI) in European Institute of Innovation and Technology. The two young and ambitious talents then made a team and attended the French EPA Contest in 2014. They won as the champion of the year with an e-learning product. It's shortly followed by their decision of coming back to China and starting a company called Codemao. That's the birth story of Codemao, which is now known to more than 30 million kids aged from 4~16 who are learning coding and using its tools. As one of the pioneering companies of kids coding education in China, Codemao develops a complete set of tools for teaching and learning, including Kitten Editor, Turtle Editor, Box, Rokrok Editor, and Future Classroom, which are more tailored to the cognitive characteristics of children. It introduces interests into teaching approach, encouraging kids to explore the fun of learning by adopting graphical programming training, equipped with ample programming tools, contents, and community. Codemao allows children to create a variety of interesting works, including stories, games, and animations, and sparks their initiative and creativity through fun game-based learning activity. Till today, Codemao, with a team of more than 3000 young talents passionate about education and technology, has met a skyrocketing growth and gained trust from the investors. After the C+ round financing in April 2020, we have received in total 176.6million dollars of financing from the capitals.
