CodeAbode is a new place to learn, create and share within the tech and start-up sphere. Learn web development at our Coding Academy and join a creative community of innovators in our Co-Working space.
As an educational division of the National Museum of Health and Medicine Chicago, CodeAbode is the first non-profit coding school designed with the ever-evolving needs of the health industry in mind. Due to the increasing demand for information management and digital literacy in the healthcare field, our instructors have developed curriculum to meet the needs of the technical job market. While we specialize in health and medicine, the acquired skills are transferable to all areas of the programming world, and we welcome students with diverse interests.
We teach “full stack” development - front-end HTML/CSS & Javascript as well as server-side programming in JavaScript (node.js). Our flexible, hands-on curriculum can be taken in full-time, intensive bootcamp classes or as part-time, evening classes. Our curriculum doesn’t assume any prior knowledge, so if you’ve been trying to figure out how to get started in web development, apply for one of our upcoming courses!
CodeAbode’s Co-Working space features high-def presentation screens, shared access to a 3D printer, and an exhibit space and auditorium available for member use. Visit Desktimeapp.com/CodeAbode to reserve your spot and join the CodeAbode community.
