Cock’s & Cows was founded in 2010 at Gammel Strand. Back in 2010 Cock’s & Cows was among the first in Copenhagen to offer a mix of cocktail bar and restaurant. Then, as well as now, we strive to make the best burgers and cocktails in Copenhagen. That, and the atmosphere we brought into the concept made an immediate impact and Cock’s & Cows became very popular from day one. With the fact that we came from the bar-industry, we managed to create an ambiance which was not common in a restaurant concept in 2010, but which has become more and more important in the Copenhagen restaurant scene over the past years. Cock’s & Cows was one of Copenhagen’s pioneers combining a food and ‘going-out’ vibe.
Today, this is still an important part of the Cock’s & Cows concept. Not only have we managed to create
a nice atmosphere, we have also won ‘Byens Bedste Burger’ 4 times. 2012, 2014, 2015
and 2016. Through the years, we have refined the balance between quality burgers & cocktails and the feeling of visiting Cock’s & Cows into a full restaurant experience with all the elements needed to have a great night out.
Good Burgers are Good Company! And now our burgers are even better! We’ve entered a co-lab with Aarstiderne and are proud to say that all the veggies in our burgers are now 100 % organic. Why? The short answer is: better taste and a better conscience. Maybe we’re just overexcited, but it’s a fact that organic farmers let the veggies grow at a natural pace, meaning less water content and more taste for you guys!
