Coastal Chimney Sweep is a maintenance and repair business on the San Mateo County "Coastside." We have been in business for over 25 years providing quality service to the peninsula. We specialize in chimney sweeps and repairs, wood stove maintenance and repairs, and gas and pellet stove diagnostics. We also provide installations of complete wood, gas and pellet stoves systems and provide fire place related masonry repairs. Established in 1990. The owner of the business started cleaning chimneys as a side job while not on duty as a fire fighter for the Half Moon Bay Fire District. Gradually he created a good working relationship with the local woodstove store in Half Moon Bay, CA. Through this relationship he was trained how to install wood stove into pre-existing fire places. Gradually he sought more training and branched out into the areas of gas and pellet stove diagnostics, which is what he is best known for.
