The Climate Hub @ UBC is a student-led, campus-wide initiative that mobilizes the power of hopeful climate narratives to engage community stakeholders in systemic climate action. With a hybrid structure composed of student workers, community volunteers, and UBC support staff, the Climate Hub is uniquely positioned to empower university students with climate storytelling techniques and peer facilitation skills that resonate deeply with other youth and students.
The Climate Hub is located on the traditional, unceded, and ancestral territories of the Musqueam people in the University Sustainability Initiative offices on the second floor of the Centre for Interactive Research on Sustainability (2250 West Mall). The Hub’s work gratefully and mindfully operates throughout Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh lands, and the lands of the Syilx Okanagan Nation.
