In Europe, about 5% of Solar panel electricity is lost to pollution and dust. In desert conditions, sand and cementification can lead to losses exceeding 50% until the panel is cleaned. ClearDrop aims to automatically clean the surface of Solar Panels by using acoustic waves. Our miniature electronic device is installed at the edge of the glass panel. It has no mechanical part (can last 50 years), does not require an external source of water and does not damage the anti-reflective coating.
