Cleanleap was started by a group of clean technology enthusiasts who think that sharing knowledge is the most important way we’ll solve climate change and environmental problems. Our geographic focus is Asia and Africa.
Many other initiatives focus on the problem, or spend valuable time convincing the unconvinced that climate change is real - but that’s not what Cleanleap is about. Talking to people about the problem is important, but this area is being served well by other initiatives around the world– what’s lacking is real information about solutions.
You won’t find any doom and gloom stories on Cleanleap. Nor will you find tightly worded corporate talking points or unrealistic approaches to what are very complex issues. We’re 100% focused on sharing pragmatic, real-world solutions as widely as possible. We share knowledge on decarbonised energy technologies such as solar and wind as well as the technological solutions that relate to where we live, what we eat and how we work.
