The City of Dublin Mayor’s Council (DMC) is a student-run group that initiates and executes projects to improve the various communities within Dublin, CA. The council is headed by the mayor of Dublin, Mayor Hernandez, and was initiated by former Mayor Haubert. There are currently 40 high school students on the council, coming from Dublin High School and Quarry Lane High School. The council is led by the Executive Board, consisting of Co-Chairs, a Secretary, a Treasurer, and a Social Media Manager. The community service projects are created and led by the council’s Project Managers. Current DMC projects include a mental health awareness organization called Elephant in the Room, a diversity celebration team called Dubversity, an educational initiative called Financial Literacy, and many more. Students within the council have an opportunity to enrich their love for service and step into community leadership roles.
