Citicore Renewable Energy Corporation (CREC) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Citicore Power, Inc. (CPI). CREC is a leading pure renewable energy developer and operator of solar, run-of-river hydro, and off-shore wind energy platforms in the country.
CREC currently operates a total of ten (10) solar power plants, and one micro-grid solar rooftop systems with total aggregate capacity of 284 MWpdc all strategically located across the country.
These solar facilities include Citicore Solar (CS) Bulacan, Inc., CS Bataan, Inc., CS Tarlac 1, Inc., CS Tarlac 2, Inc., Clark Solar Farm, Inc., CS South Cotabato, Inc., CS Cebu, Inc., CS Negros Occidental, Inc., Arayat-Mexico Solar Farm (JV with ACEN), and solar rooftop systems in Bataan.
The company also ventured into the development of run-of-river (ROR) hydro in Ilaguen, Isabela. It has secured wind energy service contracts for at least seven off-shore wind projects.
CREC is the first AgroSolar-Social renewable energy generating company in the Philippines that harnesses responsibly sun and land resources through its pioneering Agrivoltaic technology, providing additional livelihood to the community.
Through the Agrivoltaic technology, we integrate solar power generation with agricultural crop production to provide positive energy and alternative yet sustainable livelihood to small farmers. The company’s AgroSolar-Social initiative ensures that host communities are not displaced by the race for renewable energy but rather empowered as they remain integral to the country’s economic growth and development.
CREC has over 5 GW of project pipelines in varying stages of development.
Further, CREC is also the sponsor of the Citicore Energy REIT Corp. (CREIT), the first renewable energy REIT listed in the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE).
CREIT owns an estimate of 200 hectares (has) of land asset portfolio leased out to CREC and its affiliate. CREC is leading the clean energy revolution in the Philippines.
